Microtherm® Flexible Panels are panels of insulation that are designed to be formed around curves and shapes during installation.
Microtherm® Flexible Panels are mainly flexible high temperature thermal insulation panels made by covering Microtherm® microporous insulation with a flexible outer covering material. They are ideal for use in more difficult applications where a rigid panel is unsuitable.
Microtherm® Floppy Panels are flexible insulation covered with a material having a lower temperature resistance for use in sub-sea pipe-in-pipe applications.

The plastic water encapsulation barrier on Microtherm® Steelflex panels will be destroyed once the panels are exposed to elevated temperatures during use. The water resistance is only intended as a temporary characteristic for protection during installation.
