Concentrated Solar Power Summit USA – more keen interest in Microtherm®
Organized by CSP today, the 4th annual Concentrated Solar Power Summit USA was held in San Francisco on the 23rd to 25th June. This edition was by far the biggest so far with an attendance of 500+ solar power industry professional and over 50 exhibitors.
Microtherm, as market leader in innovative thermal insulation designs based on their versatile range of microporous insulation products, was one of those 50 exhibitors present in the Expo Hall of Parc 55 Hotel in the heart of downtown San Francisco.
Our specialists were available to discuss about different applications in solar power plants based on our considerable experience gained with successful CSP applications throughout Europe. Ball joint assembly insulation for parabolic trough collection systems and the compact insulation of the associated long piping runs and clamp supports all benefit from the use of Microtherm® insulation which can be only one quarter the thickness of conventional insulation materials.
We would like to thank all visitors to our stand who came to learn more about our insulation solutions for the Solar power market. Besides the many customers and contacts that we already have in this market who came to discuss new insulation solutions with us, we were very happy to welcome promising contacts with new prospects from within the solar power markets; EPC companies, technology providers, project developers & owners contractors and consultancy companies.
